HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY!
Huge, warm THANK YOU’s to everyone who helped me along the way including my sisters who spoke with me that evening Deborah Jay Lewin, Stephanie Mines and Margaret Elphinstone…. and Eleanor Brown who sang her amazing song ‘A Call To Stand’ supported by Zoe Bicat and Sam Elvyhart. (See Second Video below)… also to everyone at Findhorn Live who made it happen.
Much gratitude also to all the beautiful women from the Women’s Council in the audience and to the profoundly inspiring women who I am journeying with in our Wisdom Circles.
This International Women’s Day, I want to celebrate the beauty and power of our feminine voices and wisdom as women, and the profound COURAGE we have to take the inner journey of transformation that is needed in order for us to bring our much needed contributions into the world.
Let’s honour the courage of all the women who came before us, who’s wounds we are healing and who’s wisdom we carry forward through our fierce love for life. Let’s appreciate all the women who stand with us and who’s sisterhood we cherish. Let’s support and encourage all the women who come after us and who are the healers and leaders of our future.
How are you Rising Connected on International Women’s Day?
During the TEDx evening event at Findhorn’s Universal Hall, Eleanor Brown sang her brilliant song A Call To Stand, supported by Zoe Bicat and Sam Elvyhart who were also participating in the Women’s Council.
Back in 2014 Eleanor created this song in conjunction with a Teleseries that I ran called, A Call To Stand. It was an inspired creative collaboration that emerged a week before the series began and Eleanor birthed and recorded this potent song within a week.
So I’d love to share a video of this song that Eleanor created from what was a rousing, beautiful rendition for our TEDx evening!
